Due to the Covid19 Virus the Rushworth Wildflower Hunt will not be held in 2021

The Maps to Apps Community Group was taking a break in 2019 (had a forced break in 2020 and will again in 2021) from holding its annual Wildflower Hunt.

However in 2022 we hope to be back bigger and better with a brand new Wildflower Hunt.

Watch this space for further details!

The annual "Rushworth Wildflower Hunt" involves a walk of approimately 5 to 6 kms through the Rushworth Ironbark Forest at the time of year when all the wildflowers should be in bloom throughout the forest. The 2018 wildflower hunt was very successful with over 130 participants enjoying a diverse range of wildflowers in bloom as well as some historic gold mining sites from the long abandoned gold mining town of Whroo. If you would like further information on the 2021 wildflower hunt or would like to become involved in its organisation then please contact us.
